In October 2011 Augie Digiacomo from Diamond Concessions of Utah reached out to Ryan with an opportunity to run the concessions department for the Maverik Center and Usana Amphitheater. Ryan jumped at the challenge, and moved to Salt Lake with his wife Andrea.
Ryan is married. He met his wife Andrea in Clearwater, FL at a Threshers game in 2008 and they have been together ever since. They own a home in West Valley City and have two boxer puppies, Kimbo and Duke.
